Charmander

It has a preference for hot things.  The fire on the tip of its tail is a measure of its life.  If healthy, its tail burns intensely.  When it rains, steam is said to spout from the tip of its tail.

Charmander may look cute, but these lizards are quite vicious Pokemon.  They have lightning reflexes and determination that keeps them going when other Pokemon would faint.

- Benefit: While you are conscious, you emit bright light in a radius of 5 squares.

LEVEL 1: EMBER
Spitting fire is one of the first things a baby Charmander does.  It never forgets how, and can do so practically on a whim.
- Benefit: You gain the ember power.

- Benefit: You gain a bonus to the damage rolls of your Charmander and second stage attack powers.  The bonus equals your Charisma modifier.

LEVEL 1: DRAGON HEART
Though Charmander is not a true dragon Pokemon, it does have similar qualities.  Dragons pack a surprising amount of power behind their chosen weapons, and can enhance their physical attacks with the burning energy within them.
- Benefit: The damage die of your claws is 2d4.  When you make a physical attack using your claw, you can choose to use your special item instead of your physical item to determine your claw's enhancement bonus, critical hit effects, properties, and powers.

LEVEL 1: VICTORY ROAR
When Charmander defeats an enemy, it lets out a roar that bolsters its spirit.  As a Charmander, of course, the roar is no more than a spirited growl, but it is enough to give the Charmander some energy.  After Charmander evolves, its voice becomes a much more powerful encourager.
- Benefit: You gain the victory roar power.
